Located about 70 kilometers east of Kolwezi city (provincial capital), Lualaba Province, DRC, Pompeii copper cobalt ore project in DRC has an approximate area of 27.2 square kilometers. Its resources include 763,000 tons of copper and 136,000 tons of cobalt.

Started at the end of 2018, Pompeii copper cobalt ore project in DRC is expected to be put into production and commissioning at the beginning of 2020, and reach annual average production of 34,000 tons of cathode copper and 4,800 tons of cobalt contained in the cobalt hydroxide.
