The 24th Chile International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE 2026) kicked off grandly in Santiago on April 7. As one of the largest comprehensive defense exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere, this year’s event has attracted over 440 enterprises from 35 countries, serving as a vital platform for countries worldwide to showcase their defense industry capabilities and conduct technical exchanges.

At the exhibition, with Chile as the foothold and Latin America as the coverage area, NORINCO focused on regional security demands and hotspots, and prominently showcased star products and integrated solutions in the defense industry and military technology sectors covering unmanned and counter-unmanned systems, fire strike, mobile assault, air defense and anti-missile, smart ammunition, and non-traditional security. The exhibition team made meticulous planning and systematically demonstrated the company’s equipment standards and technological strength through diversified means including static models, system solutions and multimedia presentations.

During the exhibition, high-level delegations from various countries and leaders of embassies and consulates visited NORINCO’s booth, making detailed inquiries about equipment performance parameters and technical cooperation models. All parties spoke highly of NORINCO’s innovative achievements in equipment capacity building across multiple fields and its systematic and institutionalized solutions. The two sides conducted friendly exchanges on projects and topics of mutual interest.
