The 7th Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (UMEX 2026) grandly opened at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on January 20. As the most influential event of its kind in the Middle East, this year’s exhibition has brought together 387 exhibitors from 39 countries, serving as an important platform for showcasing military capabilities and facilitating international technological exchange.

With the core theme of "High-end Intelligent Manufacturing Empowering Unmanned and Anti-Unmanned Systems: Forging a New Ecosystem of Localized Cooperation," NORINCO highlighted a comprehensive range of cutting-edge equipment across multiple domains. The showcase featured unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), loitering munitions, unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), unmanned surface vessels (USVs), air defense and anti-drone systems, and individual soldier systems. The exhibition also demonstrated the Company's vertical integration capabilities: extending upstream to show how command and control information systems empower heterogeneous equipment, and expanding downstream to showcase core payloads and components, including engines, optoelectronic systems, and electronic warfare systems. This holistic display fully reflected NORINCO’s innovative achievements in unmanned, informationized, intelligent, and systematic combat capabilities.

During the event, the NORINCO booth attracted a series of high-level visits from UAE military officials, government leaders, and senior military and political delegations from various nations. These delegations engaged in in-depth discussions with NORINCO’s team regarding potential cooperation across multiple sectors.

Through this exhibition, NORINCO successfully presented its unmanned and anti-unmanned solutions to a global audience. The event significantly enhanced the NORINCO brand image and reputation, thereby laying a solid foundation for deepening cooperation with international partners.
