On September 3, the 2024 Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX) grandly kicked off at the International Exhibition Center in Aqaba, a port city in southern Jordan. SOFEX, which began in 1996 and is held biennially, is one of the more influential defense exhibitions in the Middle East. The company was invited to exhibit in 2012 and 2022.

Themed "Collaboration and Integration for Enhanced Global Security," this three-day SOFEX 2024 attracted military delegations from over 70 countries and more than 300 defense companies worldwide.

As the only Chinese defense company exhibiting in SOFEX, NORINCO focused on current regional defense needs and future equipment development trends, and showcased its star products and solutions in integrated air defense systems, intelligent unmanned warfare, area and field air defense systems, unmanned and anti-unmanned warfare, fire suppression weapons, and intelligent ammunition, under the themes of integrated air defense systems and intelligent unmanned warfare. In addition, the exhibition team innovatively presented the SR5 multiple-launch rocket system for efficient exhibition, enhancing the overall marketing effect and achieving a win-win situation with users.

On the first day of the exhibition, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, accompanied by Crown Prince Hussein, visited the company's booth to discuss projects of mutual interest. Meanwhile, Jordanian royals, military officials, and military representatives from multiple countries visited the company's booth, attracting significant attention from high-level delegations and news media from various countries attending the exhibition. Through this participation, the company's marketing capabilities were further expanded, and the NORINCO brand's influence was further enhanced.
