On March 4, The eighth edition of the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition (DIMDEX2024) commenced at the Qatar National Convention Center, showcasing the characteristic of the integration of land, sea, and air defense domains. Over 200 military companies from various countries exhibited in the exhibition. Nine national pavilions have been set up, featuring countries such as China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Turkey. Additionally, Qatar's local defense industry capabilities and operational core equipments were also on display.

During the exhibition, NORINCO showed the "multi-domain vertical combat system" as the main highlight, and fully demonstrated the latest products and equipment, advanced technology capabilities and system solutions covering the fields of fire strike, air defense and anti-missile, armored assault, intelligent ammunition and unmanned systems, which made it become the focus of attention at the defense exhibition. Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Chief of General Staff and other senior military and political officials led a delegation to visit NORINCO’s booth. They expressed strong interest in its product equipment system and personalized solutions. In addition, many high-level delegations and partners from other countries in Asia and Africa also visited NORINCO’s booth one after another. During the exchange, they had a detailed understanding of the development of equipment technology in the field of defense and expressed their desire to further deepen friendly cooperation.
